As Production Team Leader, you will oversee daily production operations in the plant ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will have a strong background in plastics manufacturing, excellent team leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members in production.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance productivity and skill development.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve produc-tion challenges.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing or engineering is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in injection molding, ideally 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems.
• Experience with ERP or production tracking systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of mold changeovers, machine parameter optimization, and cycle time reduction.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Familiarity with molding and auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, and robots.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment
