Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is responsible for managing and processing a company's outgoing payments to vendors and suppliers. This role ensures invoices are accurately recorded, approved, and paid on time while maintaining strong internal controls and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Review, code, and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts; resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
- Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Support audits by providing documentation and reports
