Our community is a close-knit group of remarkable individuals driven by intellectual inquiry, a commitment to social justice, and a shared dedication to making a difference in the world.**Requirements****Job Overview**The Swim Instructor will provide private swim instruction primarily to adults from beginner to advanced level, but may also include some instruction for children. The instructor must have previous teaching experience, understand how to teach the “fearful adult swimmer”, enjoy helping clients improve their swimming ability and be enthusiastic, friendly and positive. The position is part-time and involves evening and weekend hours approximately 10 hours per week.**Work Interactions**This position provides a service to our Georgetown University students, faculty and staff as well as the local community. The position reports to the Aquatics Coordinator. The work performed contributes to the revenue generated by Aquatics deparmtent.**Requirements and Qualifications*** Must have previous teaching experience with adult beginner, intermediate and advanced swimmers.* CPR/AED First Aid Certification (preferred by not required)* Red Cross WSI (preferred by not required)* Engaging and professional approach* Self-motivated with passion for helping clients achieve their swim goals.**Work Mode Designation**This position has been designated as On-Campus.
