Miller Brother Staffing Solutions has openings for CNC Operators for 2nd shift with a company in Erie, PA. Pay rate is up to $24/hour.



CNC Operator

2nd shift: 2:30pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday--must be open to overtime

Pay Rate: Up to $24/hour.

Position Summary


Candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components while maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and following all safety procedures. Previous CNC machining experience is preferred, but candidates with strong manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.


Essential Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, or machining centers according to work instructions and production schedules.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficient production.
• Perform routine quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Make basic tool offset adjustments as needed to maintain part specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and inspection documents.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Replace tooling and perform minor machine maintenance as required.
• Keep work area clean and organized following 5S and safety standards.
• Communicate production issues or equipment concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous CNC machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
