Production Control Technician

Job Title
In this role you will:
- Monitor production job schedules for pay, personnel and accounting application systems executing in an IM+BM zOS environment to ensure scheduled processes complete without error or delay.
- Coordinate operational issues with software development team, release management and other technical support personnel in support of prompt and accurate resolution of any processing errors.
- Design and execute corrective actions in the event of process failures or errors.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate on-call personnel.
- Participate in process handoff at beginning and end of assigned shift.
You are a great fit if you have:
- 2+ years of Production Control experience
- Ability to learn, apply and disseminate knowledge to others.
- Ability to work remotely and individually or in a team.
- Experience with job scheduling software such as Control-M
- Willingness to perform shift work as requested in support of mission objectives.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Experience performing mainframe computer operations tasks such as following runbook instructions and resolving abends and interruptions in scheduled jobs.
