Operations SupervisorExperience with hydro-mechanical assembly and testMust be comfortable working independently on an off shift. Strong communication is particularly important because there is limited support staff/leaders on 2nd shift.Must be able to provide clear, detailed pass downs- what happened, where the situation was left, and what needs to happen next.Prior formal leadership/supervisory experience is important.Comfortable working 2nd ShiftAerospace Union experience is required -Knowledge of Lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction.This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).Our aerospace manufacturing client is looking to hire an Operations Supervisor to oversee their Servo Assembly and Test division. This person will be onsite 5 days a week in their Santa Clarita facility, working 2nd shift (3:30PM-11PM) until the end of December 2027.Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision: Provide direct support to front line team of 20 members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.Pay Rate: $45-$60hrly
