Oncology Nurse - PCU

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, with the possibility of one shift cancellation per week due to low census.

We are looking for a skilled Oncology Nurse with PCU experience and chemotherapy certification to provide high-quality nursing care in a progressive care unit setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a dedication to patient-centered care.

Provide nursing care and treatment to oncology patients in a PCU setting.

Administer chemotherapy and manage associated side effects.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring comprehensive documentation.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and families on treatment options and care practices.

Minimum of 24 months of recent oncology nursing experience required.

Current and active nursing license with no restrictions.

Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required.

Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.

Must be able to start on the designated start date or no more than one week later.
