Aspirus Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Palliative Care team based in Wausau, Wisconsin.

OPPORTUNITY:

• Full-time position, 5 days per week\n
  \n
  • Provide inpatient coverage 2 days/week at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, including Saturdays (required)
  \n
  • Telehealth palliative services covering 3 Aspirus Health hospitals in upper Michigan, potential for remote
  \n
  • Preferred schedule Tuesday-Saturday
  \n
\n
• No call
\n
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to improve quality of life by\n
  \n
  • Symptom and Pain Management
  \n
  • Medication Management
  \n
  • Disease Progression Education
  \n
  • Goals of Care Discussions
  \n
  • Connect Patients and Families with Community and Supportive Services
  \n
  • Provide Culturally Sensitive Care that Addresses Spiritual, Emotional, and Cultural Needs
  \n
\n
• Must have at least 2 years experience as a practicing provider
\n
• Telehealth experience is a plus
\n
• Must have Wisconsin and Michigan licenses
\n
