Key Details - Assignment Type : Locum Tenens- Setting : Hospital- Start Date : July 13th (or 20th) - September 21st (7 AM) to 27th (7 AM)- Schedule : 24-hour call- Patient Population : Adult (18), occasional emergency torsion cases- Location : York, PA- Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits - Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling (optional if applicable) Job Responsibilities - Provide coverage and handle urological emergencies and surgeries- Participate in rounds and manage inpatient consultations- Perform core procedures such as vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate and ureteroscopy procedures- Oversee and provide direction for NP/PA new staff members- Collaborate with a support team of MAs, CSA, RN, and other healthcare professionals Qualifications - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology- Active PA License or IMLC LOQ required- DEA certification required- At least 1 year of urology experience, new grads considered Working Hours - 24-hour call coverage from July 13th to 17th or 20th, and September 21st to 27th- Involves callbacks ranging from 2-6 hours per day Skills - Proficiency in robotic surgery and various urological procedures- Experience in using EPIC EMR system- Strong communication and supervisory skills for working with support staff- Ability to manage and perform under pressure in a high-trauma setting Explore this flexible opportunity to impact patient care while enjoying the charm of York, PA.
