Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Because your skill spans many modalities, we offer a **higher wage incentive** that rewards your flexibility and expertise.**Responsibilities:*** Varying shifts in the ED, ICU, Resource, Med/Surg, Birth Center (post-partum) Behavioral Health Services, & Same Day Service Pre-Op and PACU.* Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the various departments in the hospital.* Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.* Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.* Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.**Requirements:*** Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience required or equivalent hospital experience* Critical care experience preferred* Must be willing to fill Resource Nurse role* Active IA RN license* Must have or willing to obtain upon hire: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, Hazmat, Mandatory Reporter, AMLS, and NRP (inhouse education available upon hire!)* Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems**Schedule:*** Full Time benefit eligible* 72 hours/pp* 12 hour Day/Night rotation* Weekend and holiday rotation per department requirements* The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the hospital**Spencer Hospital offers competitive wages, affordable insurance, IPERS retirement, in-house education, paid time off, family gym membership and so much more!****Please contact Spencer Hospital Human Resources for any questions at View phone number on click.appcast.io or email View email address on click.appcast.io.****Learn more about Spencer Hospital:** #J-18808-Ljbffr
