Description

The DevSecOps Engineer will transform software architectures from monolithic to containerized microservices while implementing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and performing secure solution development. They will drive the client's DevSecOps implementation, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle while automating security testing and deployment processes for mission-critical contracting systems using Government-approved tools and containerization technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Seven (7)+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience defining Scrum Agile methodologies for large scale clients.
• Experience in leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies and driving automated software development lifecycle toolchain.
• Experience with deployments in both on premise and cloud environments.
• Experience as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment.
• Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace / OpenStack).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift).
• Relevant CSP Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure SA, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
• Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).
• Must be a US Citizen.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $83,000 - $124,680.00.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee.
