Overview

As a CT Technologist near Ashland, OH, you will provide clarity and confidence to physicians and care teams by producing precise, detailed images that support life-saving diagnoses and interventions.

This is a full-time position (36 hours per week) offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to work in a supportive, professional imaging department that values collaboration, patient care, and technical excellence. You will join a team that serves a wide spectrum of patientsfrom pediatric to geriatricdelivering both routine and advanced imaging in a safe, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

As a CT Technologist, you will:

• Verify physician orders and ensure accuracy of exam protocols.
• Identify patients using two approved identifiers, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Prepare and perform CT scans with precision, producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Safely administer contrast media under physician supervision and maintain IV access procedures.
• Apply ALARA principles (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) to minimize radiation exposure while delivering optimal image quality.
• Perform quality control checks, including phantom imaging, cassette cleaning, and tube warmups.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, explaining procedures and easing concerns.
• Ensure timely post-processing of images for physician review using PACS and RIS systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and a safe imaging environment at all times.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Participate in call rotations, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed in a 24/7 imaging environment.
• Support department-wide continuous improvement efforts, contributing to quality assurance and accreditation standards.

Education, Certifications & Requirements

• Current ARRT certification (Radiography required; CT preferred).
• Current Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license for radiologic technologists.
• BLS certification (must be maintained while in the role).
• At least six months of CT experience preferred; new graduates must obtain CT registry within 18 months of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with patients of all ages.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with PACS and RIS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in medical imaging.
• Demonstrated leadership in patient-centered care.
• Comfort working across multiple imaging modalities (X-ray, MRI, mammography).
