Role Description The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments for all team members in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, processing monthly payroll runs, calculating deductions and statutory contributions, and reconciling payroll reports. The role involves responding to payroll-related inquiries, collaborating with Finance and HR to resolve discrepancies, and supporting audits and compliance reporting. The Payroll Officer will also contribute to improving payroll systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable digital communication and strong self-management.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Services to handle end-to-end payroll processing and documentation.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Payroll Taxes and core Finance principles to ensure compliance, accurate calculations, and proper reporting.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to support employees, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and explain payroll matters.
Experience with payroll software, spreadsheets, and HRIS systems, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
Understanding of UK payroll regulations and statutory requirements is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Relevant certification or coursework in payroll, accounting, or finance is an advantage.
