This position requires close coordination with kitchen staff and servers to maintain the flow of service and uphold high standards of food presentation and quality. This role demands physical stamina and mobility to handle lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods during shifts that often include nights, weekends, and holidays. Ultimately, the Food Runner contributes significantly to guest satisfaction by supporting the front-of-house team and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full range of mobility including standing for long periods, reaching overhead, and performing repetitive motions. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene procedures. Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred but not required. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with safety protocols specific to food handling and service. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Ability to multitask and maintain composure during high-volume service periods. Customer service experience to enhance guest interactions and satisfaction. Responsibilities: Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests’ tables or room service locations. Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure orders are complete and meet quality standards before delivery. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of service areas, including clearing and resetting tables as needed. Follow all safety procedures and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.
