Commercial Analyst

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,500 per year. This is a Boston‑based opportunity with a 4‑day in‑office expectation (Monday‑Thursday) and 1‑day remote (Friday). What You’ll Do Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with large datasets to identify trends, perform analyses, and develop reports to drive business decisions across different Commercial functions. Strategic Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of key initiatives across marketing, pricing, product curation, and competitive analysis that align with Wayfair’s growth strategies. Supplier Partnership Optimization: Partner with suppliers to optimize product offerings, refine selection, and enhance the shopping experience by using data to guide decisions. Customer Experience Enhancement: Use insights from customer behavior and feedback to continuously refine and enhance the shopping experience across Wayfair platforms. Problem‑Solving: Tackle ambiguous challenges by leveraging analytical skills to generate actionable solutions that deliver measurable improvements in profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Technology Utilization: Use advanced analytical tools and techniques (Excel, SQL, R, Python) to build data‑driven insights and recommend improvements to business processes and outcomes. What You’ll Need 0‑3 years of transferable experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co‑op experience. Bachelor’s degree. Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI). Possible Team Placements Analyst, Global Credit Card Programs – The Fintech & Loyalty organization manages payment systems, fraud detection, and a $12B+ annual transaction volume. North America/Europe Retail Tech Analytics – Supports stakeholders in the Global Supplier Organization through analytics, tools, and streamlined processes. Global Marketing – Owns strategy, analytics, and operations for digital and offline marketing channels. Profit Management – Drives pricing strategy and gross‑margin profitability across all Wayfair brands. Competitive Intelligence – Gathers competitor data to inform business goals and optimize market presence. Curation, Brands, & Stores Analytics – Provides the curation teams with tools, reporting, and insights to drive customer outcomes. Catalog Merchandising – Ensures a seamless and intuitive selling experience for suppliers and effective product lifecycle management. Global Sales – Develops and executes strategies to attract, engage, and retain customers worldwide. Promotions – Drives profitable revenue through data insights across product selection, merchandising, operations, and marketing.
