You'll fight Public Enemy #1 and create show-stopping curb appeal as a Humbug lighting installer. Because pest control runs year-round and lighting peaks in the fall and holiday season, cross-training keeps you busy, learning, and earning all year long. What You’ll Do Pest Control (Pest Hunters) Serve as a trained expert who delivers a remarkable client experience Travel to each client's home or business Survey each property and/or home Treat standing water with larvicide Apply barrier treatments to landscaping using a backpack sprayer Apply barrier treatments to homes to protect against 50+ insects Participate in marketing initiatives - door hangers, road signs, events, and more Outdoor Lighting (Humbug Lighting) Install and remove Holiday and Christmas lighting on rooftops and landscapes Install permanent, landscape, and event lighting systems Install outdoor audio systems Work safely from ladders and at heights Follow quality and safety standards on every job Represent Humbug professionally on customer property and deliver a standout finished product Timeframe & Location Full-time position Jacksonville / St. Augustine metro Hiring ASAP to begin the licensing and training process Perks of the Job Meaningful compensation: Pest Control service: $15–$25 per hour Lighting install: $18 per hour plus commission Bonus & commission opportunities across both service lines Autonomous, outdoor work environment Year-round work through cross-training on two service lines Develop professional skills: Customer service Marketing & sales Accountability Paid training and licensing Helping to fight against Public Enemy #1 and light up the community Requirements No prior experience necessary - we prefer positive character traits over technical experience Be at least 18 years old Have a valid driver's license Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs Be comfortable working from ladders and at heights Be comfortable driving throughout the workday Enjoy working outdoors Be energetic, hardworking & reliable Possess excellent communication & customer service skills Excel in a position of independence & responsibility No insurance claims in the past 2 years No felonies - criminal background check required Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply, but it's not necessary Pest control Lawncare & landscaping Christmas / holiday lighting or general installation Outdoor & home services Labor Customer service Drivers High school seniors (18+) College students Someone seeking a primary role in a growing local business Gig workers (Uber, Lyft, Postmates) Anyone who enjoys working outdoors (arborists, lawn care, painters, roofers) Amazon warehouse Sales or retail #J-18808-Ljbffr Pest Hunters/Humbug Holiday Lighting of St Augustine-St Johns
