Job Overview:
Pay Range: $59.70hr - $64.70hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in corporate accounting, financial reporting, or consolidation.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Strong understanding of month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of financial statement preparation.
- Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and consolidations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve reconciling items.
- Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Support consolidation processes, including elimination entries and financial statement preparation.
- Prepare financial analyses, variance explanations, and management reporting schedules.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and regional accounting teams.
- Assist with external and internal audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
- Help maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Provide backup support for critical close activities and other ad hoc accounting projects as needed.
Nice to Have:
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
- Experience working in a multinational company with multiple legal entities and foreign currencies.
- Experience with consolidation and reporting tools such as Tagetik, SAP S/4HANA and Group Reporting, Hyperion, or OneStream.
- Prior experience supporting system implementations or finance transformation initiatives is a plus.
