Responsibilities:

• Transport, retrieve, and return Government records within a large underground storage facility.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull carts or boxes of files weighing up to 40 pounds on a repetitive basis.
• Walk substantial distances, climb ladders, bend, squat, and perform other physical activities required to access shelving and records.
• Follow written, oral, or diagram instructions to execute daily tasks with precision.
• Maintain punctual and consistent attendance while meeting productivity and accuracy requirements.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid reading and keyboarding abilities.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to follow multi-step instructions.

The government is essentially looking to confirm that you are generally in good financial standing, up to date on your tax filings, rehire eligible with your prior employers, and have adhered to any federal restrictions on illegal drug use, including marijuana, in addition to other checks related on your character and trustworthiness.
