Staff Clinical Pharmacist

Role: The Staff Pharmacist provides patient-centered pharmaceutical care, combining clinical services with medication distribution. Responsibilities include antibiotic dosing, warfarin management, renal dosing, IV-to-PO conversions, and medication reconciliation. They collaborate with healthcare providers, offer drug information, and ensure medication safety and efficacy according to state laws. Additional duties involve preparing IVs, verifying orders, participating in rounds, and educating patients and staff on medication use and side effects. Supervision of pharmacy personnel and patient assessment are also key components. Qualifications & Skills: A B.S. or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited institution, with preferred PGY1 residency. Must be a registered pharmacist and certified as BCPS upon hire. Hospital and clinical pharmacy experience are preferred, with strong communication and clinical skills essential for advising healthcare teams.
