Starting Wage: $27.13 + $2.30 shift differential for 2nd shift Shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 1:50 pm - 9:50 pm What's in it for you: Paid Time Offand Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Plans 401k match from Daikin Tuition Reimbursement Referral Bonus Program Climate Controlled Facility Your Responsibilities: Perform Line Assembler duties as assigned and as needed to effectuate the completion of brazing and brazing duties at assigned work areas Demonstrate the ability to adhere to and remain in compliance with all safety rules and PPE requirements Successfully complete classroom and DOJO training (copper to copper brazing, copper to brass brazing, copper to steel brazing and know the five stages of flux) Read, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, applicable OMS documents, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction Work with materials to complete assigned tasks to meet production requirements Operate tools and equipment to assemble, test, handle, manipulate, and move components, assemblies, and final product Use measuring and testing devices as well as visual inspection to ensure the quality products and conformity to all prints, work instructions, and quality standards Maintain required records including but not limited to quality checklists, input into specified electronic systems and reporting of all line issues into the appropriate data collection systems Successful completion of required skills training (e.g. crane and tugger operation, fall protection, etc.) Preventative Maintenance daily on all braze equipment Your Qualifications: The ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials, stand for majority of the shift, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining proper PPE The ability to use hand tools for extended periods of time The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English High School Education/GED OR Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing/production environment Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple Medical insurance plan options + Dental and Vision insurance Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage Short term disability and optional employee paid voluntary long-term disability 401K retirement plan with employer match 40 hours vacation time, prorated based on startdate 40 hours paid time off, prorated based on start date 88 hours company paid holidays Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
