RN - ICU

Registered Nurse - ICU Contract Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week with a 36-hour guarantee. Every other weekend required.

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. This role involves collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards, ensuring patient and family-centered care, and adhering to hospital policy and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assume personal responsibility for quality patient care and professional development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 3+ years of nursing experience is required.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment is required.
• ACLS certification is required; copy must be provided with submission.
• Michigan RN license verification required; submit LARA and Nursys documentation.
