Individuals must have reasonable access to a major airport and must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.SUMMARYThe Director of Capture Management is responsible for leading capture efforts, overseeing capture managers, conducting market analysis, and devising capture strategies to win contracts supporting DoD, US/foreign governments, and OEMs. This leader will work closely with internal stakeholders, defense contractors, prime contractors, and OEMs in developing executable support and sustainment strategies resulting in lower life cycle costs for the customer, and reasonable profit for AAR.What you will be responsible for:Win contracts supporting DoW, US/foreign governments, and OEMs, and develop strategies to grow these marketsInteracts and collaborates across AAR’s functional staffs and other AAR business units to generate cost effective winning capture strategiesDevelops and supports the creation and pursuit of a capture pipeline in accordance with AAR strategic goalsContributes and recommends business and marketing strategies to achieve maximum penetration consistent with Company financial objectivesPrepares customer and internal presentationsSupports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values and culture of AAREnsures all capture activity is conducted in a compliant and ethical manner consistent with Government laws and the high standards of AARQualificationsWhat you will need to be successful in this role:8 years of related professional experience in defense or the defense industry with a focus on Product Support and Integration, Engineering Services, CLS, and/or supply chain management is required.Knowledge of Shipley Capture and Proposal Management processesMust have ability to obtain up to Top Secret level clearance.Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or fifteen years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceYear One Critical Success Factors:Successfully lead end-to-end capture efforts for assigned opportunitiesDrive consistent adherence to standardized capture and proposal SOPsConsistently apply AAR’s structured capture methodologyProduce compliant and compelling, on-time, high-quality capture artifactsInfluence leaders, capture managers, and proposal managers to adopt standardized processesThe rewards of your career at AAR go far beyond just your salary:Competitive salary and bonus package Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) retirement plan with company matchGenerous paid time off program Professional development and career advancement opportunitiesPhysical Demands/Work Environment:The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.
