Transportation Specialist — Asurgent Living Location: Cleveland Heights, OH (on-site) Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 an hour Asurgent Health is a behavioral health organization providing compassionate substance abuse treatment to our community. We're looking for a dependable, caring Transportation Specialist to safely get our clients where they need to be — and to be a steady, supportive presence for people in recovery along the way. What you\'ll do Transport clients to and from our treatment facility, medical appointments, and other designated locations Ensure the safety and comfort of every client during transit Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues Keep the vehicle clean and organized, and maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and maintenance Follow all traffic laws and agency protocols for client safety and confidentiality Communicate clearly with clients, clinical staff, and supervisors, and report any concerns or incidents Coordinate schedules and logistics to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs Provide a positive, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment, responding calmly to any challenging situations What we\'re looking for High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record Previous experience in a similar role — healthcare or substance abuse treatment settings a plus Strong knowledge of local geography and roadways Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism CPR and First Aid certification preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Asurgent Health Addiction Treatment Center
