Cardiac Critical Care experience greater than 2 years per Director ACLS, BLS, & PALS Preferred or nice to have candidates with these skills will be considered first. Peritoneal dialysis, CRRT skills ECMO bedside experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post-op care – inotropic and vasopressor continuous infusions, IVF and chest tube management, care of the post-sternotomy/ open chest. We are committed to evidence-based practice, prevention and quality metrics serving the patients and team. This Unit is the EMCO Center of the hospital serving medical neonates and cardiac patients. To support these complex patients, we utilize equipment like the centrimag, prismax, arctic sun, etc. The patient population has 10 beds but is in the PICU (10 beds) so there are many resources willing to assist and support you during your shift. Our physician team is comprised of board-certified pediatric/congenital heart intensivists, all who have a great desire to partner with nurses to deliver the highest level of compassionate critical care. In this CICU, you will be working together with the intensivist and the disciplinary team to support each patient and their family through their congenital heart journey, come join us in this endeavor!
