Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Emergency Room (ER) is available in Lewiston, Maine. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working in a Level 2 trauma center with pediatric to geriatric patient populations, providing emergency care for a variety of conditions. The position offers a schedule from 6:45am to 7:15pm, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm, 12 hours shift, weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); 2 years of experience in non-trauma emergency departments; Education requirements as applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and triage in a non-trauma ER setting; familiarity with Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR; CPI certification preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • No guarantee for weekends off, but efforts are made to provide a fair schedule.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, including to the ED holding area.
