Job Summary:
An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing care in a Level 2 trauma center, serving a diverse patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lewiston, ME
• Shift: Nights, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); 0 years of experience; ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias; experience with ventilated patients; preferred experience of 2 years in a non-trauma emergency department
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience interpreting dysrhythmias and managing ventilated patients in an emergency setting
• Additional Information: The unit features 4 critical care bays, utilizes Omnicell electronic medication system and EPIC electronic health records, and participates in teleneurology for stroke in cooperation with a major hospital. No travel pairs accepted.
