Job Summary:

A registered nurse (RN) position on the Medical Surgical (MS) floor in Lewiston, Maine. The role involves providing patient care in a 37-bed unit that accommodates surgical patients, with a focus on telemetry. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS or BCLS certification is required, ACLS certification preferred, no minimum years of experience specified, candidate must have experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, and surgical nursing.

Preferred Qualifications: Bariatric experience, ultrasound IV skills, experience with inpatient units.

Float: Float rotation may be required to all inpatient units.

Additional Information: Experience with telemetry, management of dysrhythmias, and surgical patient care preferred; bariatric experience is a plus; ultrasound IV team available from 7am to 10pm; high patient churn; candidate must be adaptable to a busy environment with a diverse patient population.
