• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York Bar
• At least 2 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive, team-oriented approach to practicing law

As our litigation practice continues to grow, we are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our Poughkeepsie office .

What You'll Do

You will manage and support a broad range of civil litigation matters while working closely with experienced attorneys in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling matters through all phases of litigation
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and legal memoranda
• Conducting depositions and witness interviews
• Managing discovery and document review
• Appearing in court for conferences, hearings, and motion practice
• Participating in mediations and settlement negotiations
• Developing litigation strategy and case evaluation
• Maintaining direct communication with clients and opposing counsel
• Supporting trial preparation and trial proceedings
