Property Accountant

Property Accountant Salt Lake City, UT
Responsible for all accounting and financial reporting for assigned properties.
Close month end accounting entries and reconcile balance sheets & profit and loss statements.
Maintain general ledger, journal entries and account reconciliations.
Working knowledge of mortgage/escrow and draw agreements as well as management agreements.
Verify escrow taxes, insurance, and process monthly mortgage and distributions.
Review payables, deposits, and accounts receivable transactions.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Assist with annual audits.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
3-5 years of experience, with minimum of 1 year of Property Accounting experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite. Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata or CYMA, is a plus.
Previous experience in real estate/property management accounting is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
