Scheduling Specialist

JOB LOCATION:  Commonwealth Health Physician Network (various locations)

Position Purpose

Provide scheduling and post case data entry support to the Surgical Services Department, including Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy, Outpatient and OB. Assist the clerical team when needed with keeping charges current and being back-up for others in their absence.

Position Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Typing, computer skills required. Hospital experience and medical terminology required. Clerical accuracy, public relations aptitude, communication skills

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

Education, training and/or experience that would indicate ability to secure and interpret information pertinent to patient needs, a knowledge of human development and understanding of the range of treatment needed. Must have basic computer and Window NT skills. Knowledge of ORSOS helpful. Clerical accuracy, public relations aptitudes; communication skills; manual and finger dexterity.
