Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact by providing high-quality occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school environment near Grove City, OH! This contract opportunity features two openings for skilled professionals ready to deliver hands-on care in an onsite setting.
Your expertise will help students achieve greater independence and participate fully in their education. Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude are essential as further assignment specifics are being finalized.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Prior experience or practicum in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions aligned with educational goals
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and other service providers
- Capacity to work onsite within school facilities, supporting students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as specified by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct student assessments and functional evaluations to identify therapy needs
- Develop and implement interventions that support student learning and daily functioning
- Maintain thorough documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports
- Consult and collaborate with school teams to promote student success
