The Supply Chain Security Officer's role is to keep their facility safe and profitable at all times by executing company programs and investigating any suspicious activities or behavior in the facility. Primary Responsibilities Conduct surveillance – you observe associates and contractors and look for suspicious activities or behavior associated with theft, fraud, or violence. Support shrinkage awareness programs – inform associates about current shrinkage issues and encourage actions that minimize shrinkage and protect profitability. Accountable for report writing and record maintenance – produce complete, accurate reports for the company and law‑enforcement agencies. Respond to emergencies – may be required to render CPR, perform bodily‑fluid clean‑up, or operate a fire extinguisher. Maintain facility truck entrance – oversee execution of processes at the facility truck gate when assigned. Utilize the CCTV system – operate CCTV to identify threats to theft, shrinkage, violence, and visitor safety. Various posts – maintain control of entry/exit points, conduct foot patrols inside the facility, vehicle patrols outside, and assist with audit inspections.
