About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Traveler

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 4x10 Day/Evening Rotation | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technology duties within a high-capacity operating room environment
• Rotate between day and evening shifts based on departmental needs and skill alignment; evening shifts run 1:00 PM–11:00 PM, day shifts run 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9:00 AM–7:30 PM (Wed)
• Fulfill approximately 2 weeks of night shifts per contract period
• Participate in short call assignments — at least 2 per 4-week schedule — and weekend rotations as scheduled
• When scheduled for weekends, work 12-hour shifts; weekday hours within the same week will be adjusted to 8 or 10 hours to meet contracted weekly hours

Required Qualifications

• Active CST certification required
• Experience in a high-capacity operating room setting
• Ability to rotate between day, evening, and night shifts as needed
• Availability for weekend assignments and short call shifts
• Limited winter holiday time-off requests — candidates must be available during the winter holiday period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel surgical technologist experience
• Comfort working across multiple surgical service lines in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying shift lengths and scheduling demands
