Position Summary IPG Photonics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join its expanding IT team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and securing global infrastructure in a dynamic, high‑tech manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, self‑driven, and capable of supporting business systems and services that meet organizational goals and service‑level agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities Administer and support infrastructure services, including Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange, Nutanix, VMware, Veeam Backup, Manage Engine, MDM platforms, and Box. Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Purview, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure AD. Manage identity and access solutions, including Single Sign‑On (SSO) and Microsoft Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA). Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, including tenant‑to‑tenant and Google Workspace (G Suite) to Microsoft 365 migrations. Administer AWS environments, including licensing, platform deployment, and connectivity. Maintain tenant security controls and spam‑filtering systems. Monitor infrastructure and business applications to proactively identify and resolve issues. Ensure infrastructure systems meet security, compliance, and data integrity standards. Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues. Manage assigned projects, provide weekly status updates, and identify risks before they impact timelines. Create and maintain system configuration and troubleshooting documentation. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support. Lead vulnerability remediation efforts and system patching cycles. Manage, triage, and resolve IT support tickets while meeting SLA targets. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain infrastructure hardware and systems. Participate in outage and incident response bridge calls as needed. Knowledge of Hello systems or visitation software is helpful. Requirements Required Qualifications Hands‑on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Groups, and Microsoft 365 reporting. Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Windows and Linux operating systems, Veeam, Exchange, Nutanix, VMware, and monitoring tools. Experience with SolidWorks PDM, SCCM, PKI, and SharePoint. Knowledge of SSO and Microsoft MFA technologies. Experience with PowerShell scripting. Troubleshooting network configuration, installation, and maintenance. Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions activities. Strong understanding of ITIL, ITAR best practices, and ITSM tools. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Management of License Servers (RDS, Zemax, SolidWorks, FlexLM, LMTools). Troubleshooting VPN, WIFI and wired network connections. Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. ITAR, ITIL, Microsoft, and cloud certifications are highly desirable.
