Successful projects rely on clear priorities, reliable communication, and consistent follow-through. We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager in Laredo, TX to help coordinate project activities, monitor deadlines, and support teams in delivering work according to agreed plans.

You'll work alongside project managers and colleagues across different departments to track progress, organise information, and address everyday challenges. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, keeping tasks organised, and finding practical ways to help a team achieve its objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing project schedules, timelines, milestones, and action plans.
• Track project tasks and follow up with team members on outstanding deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record decisions, and circulate action points.
• Maintain project documentation, spreadsheets, progress reports, and tracking systems.
• Gather updates from departments and communicate relevant information to the project manager.
• Help monitor deadlines, resource requirements, and project expenditure.
• Identify potential delays, missing information, and scheduling conflicts.
• Coordinate project-related communications between internal teams and stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of presentations and reports for project reviews.
• Keep project records accurate and ensure documents are stored appropriately.
• Assist with resolving routine issues and escalate concerns that may affect delivery.
• Help review completed tasks and document progress against project objectives.

• Ability to follow up on tasks and work towards deadlines.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, calendars, presentations, and office software.
• Confidence working with different teams and coordinating information.
• Practical problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in project support, administration, operations, or coordination is beneficial.
• Familiarity with project management software is an advantage.
