GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) is seeking a Behavior Analyst to join our interdisciplinary team in Lander. Our campus provides residential and treatment services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, brain injuries, and mental health challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for providing psychological and behavioral services within our Skilled Nursing and Intermediate Care facilities. You will focus on developing functional assessments and positive behavior support plans to improve the quality of life for a consistent caseload of residents. This position offers a stable clinical environment with an emphasis on long-term outcomes and collaborative team support.

KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and psychological disorders.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to develop successful intervention programs.
- Skills in crisis management and the ability to de-escalate behavioral episodes safely.
- Ability to train staff on a variety of behavior support plans and techniques.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication for professional reporting.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Necessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to safely move (twisting, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling) position and lift people with multiple and severe disabilities.
- Ability to monitor sounds, noises, locations of residents, etc., to assure safety and assess imminent danger and emerging concerns.
- Ability to work alone and/or with multiple residents.
- Requires skills in crisis management and the ability to intervene during times of resident behavior episodes.
- FLSA: Exempt
- The Wyoming Life Resource Center participates in We will provide the Social Security Administration, and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security, with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization. Please note that we do not use this information to pre-screen job applicants.
- A background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, Department of Family Services, and the F.B.I. for every successful applicant.
