Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful role supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). This part-time contract position is based in the Loyalton, CA area and is perfect for education professionals who are passionate about providing individualized support to help children thrive. You'll work directly with students during the 2026/2027 school year, offering dedicated instruction and support for one hour each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid CTC Mild/Moderate or ECSE Certification (required)
- Previous experience in early childhood special education highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adaptable and creative in delivering instruction tailored to unique learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct special education services to a young child with exceptional needs for one hour each week
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to design and review IEPs and progress
- Track student growth, document services, and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Utilize evidence-based practices to foster inclusive and supportive learning environments
- Support compliance with state and federal regulations for special education services
