This full-time opportunity spans the academic year from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week dedicated to helping diverse learners succeed. Multiple roles are available across several locations, including Flagship (1 position), Mt. Pleasant (1 position), and Richmond (2 positions). Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for California schools
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students with varying exceptionalities
• Effective classroom management and individualized instruction skills
• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in accordance with IEPs
• Assess student abilities and progress, maintaining thorough documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth
• Engage in regular communication with parents and caregivers about student milestones
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and staff trainings as required
