Role Description The Sales and Marketing Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC. This role is responsible for promoting Ethiopian Airlines’ services, generating sales, and supporting marketing initiatives within the local market. Day‑to‑day activities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with travel agencies and corporate clients, and providing customer‑focused service to current and prospective passengers. The representative collaborates with internal teams to implement sales campaigns, support branding efforts, and gather market intelligence to improve performance. The role also involves preparing reports, attending industry events, and delivering product and service training to partners to enhance market reach and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills to engage clients and provide high‑quality support. Solid sales and sales & marketing skills to drive revenue, manage accounts, and support promotional activities. Training‑related skills to deliver product knowledge sessions and support partner enablement. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience in airline, travel, hospitality, or related industries is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or sales management tools, with strong analytical and reporting abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adapt to a fast‑paced, customer‑driven setting.
