Mental Health Counselor

Friday – Tuesday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM Are you a compassionate, licensed mental health professional looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our 24-hour Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center , where you'll provide life-changing care to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises. What You'll Do Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed practices. Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services. Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Connect clients with community resources and appropriate levels of care. Foster recovery through compassionate, culturally responsive, person-centered care. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field. Active New York State license: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT . Experience in crisis stabilization, residential, respite, or behavioral health settings preferred. Strong documentation and computer skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Knowledge of recovery-oriented and evidence-based clinical practices. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. Why Join Us?
