As a Security Officer Commercial Building Full Time Patrol Access Authorization in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, assist with badge-related processes, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.57 - $23.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with visitor direction and maintaining awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Complete required daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
