Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Longport, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to resident and visitor needs, and report observations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue01:00 AM - 09:00 AMWed01:00 AM - 09:00 AMThur01:00 AM - 09:00 AMFri01:00 AM - 09:00 AMSun05:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports. Communicate observations, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to site management and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
