As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and reporting of suspicious activity or policy violations. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, facility personnel, and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
