Job Description As a Security Officer - Evening Lobby Patrol , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support a commercial real estate location. In this active patrol role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal protocols. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
