As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, visitor concerns, and facility-related events. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding public service personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
