Build your Career. Make a Difference. PRESNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. The LPN will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. This role requires strong clinical skills, quick decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring quality care and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing basic medical procedures in an emergency department (ED)/urgent care environment as permitted by state regulations.
• Assist in the triage process by gathering patient information and documenting symptoms and medical histories.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to RNs and physicians.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, splinting, and other procedures as directed.
• Support patients and families by providing education and emotional reassurance during critical situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Uphold infection control practices and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in emergency response situations and contribute to team efforts during critical events.
• Restock supplies and ensure the facility is prepared for patient care.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Nursing Diploma
• Licensed Practical Nurse-NM or out of state compact LPN license
• BLS required at time of hire
