Registered Nurse Opportunity

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for the Step Down Unit/Intermediate Care Unit in Hampton, VA. The work shift is First (Days).

License and Certification:

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education:

• RN-Associate's Degree,
• RN-Bachelor's Degree,
• RN-Diploma, or
• RN-Master's Degree

This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Department Overview:

This is a 24-bed unit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide for respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, high-flo and/or chronic long term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusions and have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more.
