Quality Inspector

Hotstart, Inc. has an opening for a Quality Inspector for our Spokane, Washington corporate office. We are seeking a detail-oriented, team-focused individual who will use precision measuring equipment to inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. Primary Responsibilities: Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications; conducts visual and measurement tests; communicates required adjustments to the Line Leads. Inspect finish products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning nonconforming products for rework or scrap. Use all QA measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, depth gages, height gages, plug and ring gages, etc.) Use electric test equipment (hipot/megohm, ohm meters, etc.). Read and interpret inspection plans and drawings with variable and attribute specifications. Maintain an organized work area and accurate inspection records. Perform 100% inspection on large lots of material when required. Maintain and care of inspection and measuring equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma is required for this application Experience with measuring equipment is preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work in a team environment.
