Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, bariatric, urology, and spine surgeries.
• Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and administer medications.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and ancillary staff for comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and handle equipment proficiently including Alaris pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams, responding rapidly when necessary.

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with surgical patients
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring
