Registered Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum – Nights – 6:45 PM–7:00 AM – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Sidney, MT Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum Shift Time: Nights – 6:45 PM–7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week Start: 12/7/2026 We are seeking an experienced Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) to join a critical access hospital in Sidney, MT. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum families throughout the full continuum of the childbirth experience. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical assessment skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for supporting families during one of life's most significant milestones. Key Responsibilities • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor using continuous electronic fetal monitoring and interpret findings to guide care • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, providing skilled intrapartum support to patients and obstetric care teams • Administer epidural support, oxytocin infusions, and other medications per provider orders and established protocols • Perform immediate newborn assessments and stabilization, including APGAR scoring and initiation of resuscitation as needed • Provide postpartum care including fundal assessments, lactation support, and education on newborn care and maternal recovery • Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, and eclampsia • Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, breastfeeding techniques, and community support resources ✅ Requirements • Active MT or Compact RN license • NRP, STABLE, Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above), ACLS, BLS/BCLS certifications • 1+ years of Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum experience • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program Pay Pay range: $2,808 to $2,923 per week. Travel LDRP RN package: up to $2,923/week (36 hours) = $46/hour taxable + up to $1,267/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $78/hour fully taxable ($2,808/week for 36 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
